Cari
lettori,
stati tratti film come “The Blind Side”,
capace Jeremy Strong), “espedienti

Dear readers,
Adam McKay brings to the big screen Michael Lewis's novel (like it's been done before for “The Blind Side” in 2009 and "Moneyball” in 2011) “The Big Short”, which tells us all about some "experts" who found out and identified in time the 2007/2008 American (and worldwide) financial crisis - due to the instability of the real estate market, at the time based mainly on subprime, not controlled and highly risky mortgages. They took the risk, bet on it and bitterly became winners.
McKay combines Cinema's main elements, creating a unique piece you need to watch. You will find a nice show, a great cast featuring an amazing Christian Bale, a one-of-a-kind Steve Carrel and a not-Hollywood Brad Pitt (I need to mention also Ryan Gosling and Jeremy Strong, both really good), fun "narrative expedients" (for example, the funny use of Margot Robbie and Selena Gomez); and, last but not least, a piece of the American history, which involved millions of people and had serious consequences in other countries as well.
This big bet is against the system, the gambling table, the dealer; and we all know, unfortunately, the dealer always wins.
